High Desert Rodeo Queens Join the 85th Hollywood Christmas Parade

VICTORVILLE— A bevy of Rodeo Queens from the High Desert will have the honor of riding in the 85th Hollywood Christmas parade on Sunday, November 27, 2016. Led by Grand Marshal singer Olivia Newton-John, the Rodeo Queens will join with Broken Horn Ropers as the parade follows a 3.5-mile route along Hollywood Boulevard ending along Sunset Boulevard.

High Desert Queens participating include:

  • Miss Rodeo Adelanto- Lexi Specchio
  •  Miss Hesperia Wranglers- Lauren Lightcap
  • Hesperia Wranglers Princess- Summer Young
  • Jr.Miss Hesperia Wranglers- Roxy Neria
  • Hesperia Wranglers Jr. Princess-Hailee Herman
  •  Young Miss Hesperia Wranglers- Kendall Webb
  • Petite Miss Hesperia Wranglers- Carlee Webb

Also participating is Miss Rodeo USA Harmony Latham, a Wrightwood resident who represented the Hesperia Wranglers title when she won Miss Rodeo USA.

All the young ladies have attended several rodeos together this year including the Adelanto Rodeo. “They’ve all formed a really strong bond & friendship with each other,” said Rodeo Queen Director Tonii Ventimiglia.

The parade begins at 5:00 p.m. and in addition to being broadcast on National Prime Time Network ‘The CW’, it will also air locally on KTLA Channel 5. The Queens will also be participating in the Victorville Christmas Parade on December 3.
