The High Desert Mavericks announce that the Santa Fe Drifters gunfighters stuntman group, the Mav-X Tumblers, and the Amigo’s Santana Tribute band will provide pregame entertainment. The shows are free to ticket purchasers.
Opening night’s first pitches will be thrown by the Maverick’s new owners, Jim Coufos, Dennis Coden, and Jim Chiboucas.
The National Anthem will be performed by Dave “Make Your Party Sing” Snow, who will also lead karaoke between innings. These festivities unveil some of the “Fans Come First” entertainment attractions introduced by the new Maverick’s General Manager and Minority Owner, Ryan Cook.
In-game entertainment will have a different twist this year, bringing a new level of fan participation thanks to the High Desert Mavericks’ new partnerships. Gymnastics Express is coming to the stadium with stunts and routines performed by the all new Mav-X Tumblers. The Mavericks are also bringing back some of the old favorites such as the “In-N-Out Double Double Hitters”, Jack In The Box free taco coupons (when the Mavs score twelve runs), the Kettle Korn toss, races with the Maverick’s infamous mascot, Wooly Bully, and many more!
The Mavericks are excited to bring the High Desert a baseball season that is bigger than baseball. The Mavericks already have partnered with a large portion of the High Desert’s business community and are looking forward to making a positive impact by reengaging all who reside within the High Desert.
