APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly robbed a liquor store Wednesday night.
The call was reported at 8:50 p.m., at High Desert Liquor II located at 22020 Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley.
Details are scarce, but a male wearing a ‘black plastic Halloween mask’ and armed with a handgun entered the business and took the cash register drawer.
“The suspect threatened employees at the business and stole the business cash drawer, containing an unknown amount of cash,” sheriff’s officials said.
The suspect, described as a White male adult, 6’0, with a heavy build. He fled the scene southbound on Navajo Road in a white Mitsubishi sedan, scanner traffic reported.
No injuries were reported by any customers or employees at Hi Desert Liquor.
