HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): On Sunday, April 26, 2015 at approximately 3:17 a.m. dispatch received an emergency 911 call reference Corona needing medical assistance.
Deputies arrived in the area of Cottonwood Avenue and Poplar Street at approximately 3:22 a.m. and found 50-year-old Hermina Corona lying on the dirt shoulder of the road near a vehicle driven by her husband. Medical aid responded to the location and pronounced Corona deceased.
Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division were requested to the location to assume the investigation. Investigators believe Corona may have died as a result of exiting the vehicle she was a passenger in, while it traveled south on Cottonwood Avenue. The investigation into the circumstances of Corona’s death is ongoing.
