HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): At approximately 7:20 A.M., on Saturday, March 28th deputies from the Hesperia Police Department responded to the 19100 block of Lindsay Street. The reporting party reported that there was a deceased female inside the home. Paramedics from the San Bernardino County Fire Department confirmed that 52-year-old Jodette “Jodi” Wren was in fact deceased inside the home.
The suspicious circumstances of her death lead deputies to the request Homicide detectives to assist in the investigation. The initial investigation identified Christopher Wren, 55 as the person responsible for the death of Jodette Wren. Detectives believe that Jodette Wren may have been deceased several days prior to the emergency call.
Authorities are asking to speak to anyone that had been in contact with Christopher or Jodette Wren in the days prior to her death.
Christopher Wren was arrested and booked into the Sheriff’s High Desert Detention Center and later transferred to West Valley Detention Center for murder. At this time he is ineligible for bail. Wren is due in court for an arraignment hearing on Wednesday, April 1st.
