VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): At approximately 1:00 A.M., a 30-year-old Hesperia resident, Brandi Nichelle was assaulted and robbed as she was walking home from a local restaurant and bar. She stopped by Del Taco on her way and was attacked by a white male adult in his 50’s in the area of Ottawa Street and Cabazon Place in Victorville.

According to Nichelle, the attacker kicked her in the head and face several times leaving her unconscious before taking her cell phone, ID and credit card. An uninvolved motorist stopped to assist the Nichelle, who was bleeding and covered in dirt from the assault.
Nichelle, who had been recovering from broken ribs from a recent car accident, was transported by ambulance to Victor Valley Global Medical Center where she was treated. According to Nichelle, she left prior to all testing due to what she describes as poor treatment by the hospital staff.
“I kept asking for a blanket, they would not give me one, that’s one of the reasons why I left,” said Nichelle.
The deputies on scene were able to facilitate the injured woman in recovering her property from the attacker, who is believed to be a transient. The suspected assailant was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
