HESPERIA, CA:(VVNG.com)– A 35-year-old Hesperia woman identified as Rebecca Lynn Rodriguez was arrested for bringing drugs onto a jail facility, authorities said.
On Thursday, October 20, 2016, at approximately 5:55 p.m., Rebecca Rodriguez entered the West Valley Detention Center visiting parking lot.
Rodriguez was contacted by deputies at her vehicle and she displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. During the subsequent investigation and search of Rodriguez’s vehicle, drug paraphernalia, prescription narcotics and methamphetamine were located.
Rodriguez was arrested and booked for PC 4573 (a) – Bringing drugs onto a Jail Facility.
According to public court records, Rodriguez is currently being held in lieu of $25,000 and is scheduled to appear in a Rancho Cucamonga courtroom on October 24th.
