Hesperia Recreation and Park Districts 60th Birthday Bash

HESPERIA, Calif. (PRESS RELEASE) – The Hesperia Recreation and Park District was formed by the residents in 1957.

The yearlong celebration will be highlighted on its 60th birthday – July 2nd, at Hesperia Lake Park during the District’s 60th Birthday Bash.

You won’t want to miss it! The celebration begins around 11:00 a.m. which will include Live Music, a variety of Vendors, and a FREE Kids’ Zone. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs because around 8:00 p.m. the day will be topped off with a Movie at the Lake on the outdoor big screen, a showing of Rogue One (PG-13), the newest of the Star Wars series.

The musical line-up includes the David Paul Band, bringing you classic funk, R&B, and pop. They’re a four piece band that takes you back in time to when music was fun, kept you moving and happy. The Working Poets is next, featuring Joe and Teeci Eiffert from Southern Spirit, playing Classic Pop, Rock, Southern Rock, & Country. Closing the show is Six Hot Live – a high energy dance party playing 70’s dance, current top 40, and pop.
