Hesperia Recreation And Park District To Break Ground On Palm Street Park Improvements June 27

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Hesperia Recreation and Park District will hold a groundbreaking celebration to mark the start of the Palm Street Park Improvement Project, which will bring a new splash pad, dog park, upgraded walking trail and outdoor restroom facilities to the park.
The ceremony is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at Palm Park, 13558 Palm Street in Hesperia.
According to a written statement from the Hesperia Recreation and Park District, the project is intended to expand recreation opportunities, promote healthy lifestyles and create a more inclusive park experience for residents of all ages.
The Palm Street Park Improvement Project includes:
• A new splash pad
• A dedicated dog park
• An upgraded walking trail
• Outdoor restroom facilities
“This project reflects the District’s ongoing commitment to providing quality parks and recreational amenities that serve the needs of our growing community,” said Robert Hernandez, general manager of the Hesperia Recreation and Park District. “We are excited to break ground on these improvements and look forward to the positive impact they will have on families throughout Hesperia.”
District officials said the groundbreaking ceremony will give attendees a chance to learn more about the project, celebrate the milestone and recognize the partnerships and support that helped move the Palm Park enhancements forward.
