HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Hesperia Station is asking for the public’s help to locate a hit-and-run driver. At about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 12th deputies were dispatched to a hit and run traffic collision near Main Street and Topaz Avenue.
The collision occurred when the Ford Transit Van stopped with traffic as they were headed eastbound on Main Street. The van was rear ended by an unknown vehicle, that fled the scene. According, to the Sheriff’s press release, a juvenile passenger inside the Ford suffers from a medical condition and sustained a short health complication as a result of the collision.
There were no witnesses that were located during the initial investigation, but authorities believe that someone may have witnessed the collision since the intersection is a busy one. They are hoping someone has useful information helping to lead them to what they believe may be a larger white truck of SUV with front end damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle.
