Hesperia police investigating armed robbery at AM PM on Main Street



HESPERIA, Calif. ( — The Hesperia Police Department are investigating an armed robbery at a gas station early Sunday morning.

Spokesman Edgar Moran, with the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station, said at about 3:18 am, on August 12, 2018, deputies responded to the AM-PM in the 14900 block of Main Street in regards to a robbery.

“Three unknown males, wearing all black, entered the AM-PM store with backpacks and large bags. They began to stuff the backpacks and bags with food items while a fourth unknown male in all black clothing entered the store with a black handgun and proceeded to the employee at the register,” stated Moran.

The armed suspect instructed the employee to place money and cigarette products inside the bags.

All four suspects fled the store with bags full merchandise and fled the location in a red vehicle, unknown make or model. They were last seen heading northbound on Cottonwood Avenue.
