Hesperia Native Promoted to Fire Captain, Serving Adelanto

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Michael Stachowicz, a firefighter with more than a decade of experience in the fire service, has been promoted to captain at Station 321 in Adelanto, where he will continue serving the local community.

According to the SBCoFFLocal935 via social media, Stachowicz’s career in emergency services began in 2006 when he started as a Paid Call Firefighter with the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

He transitioned to American Medical Response (AMR) from 2012 to 2016 before returning to SBCoFD as a full-time firefighter.

Now, after nearly two decades of experience in the field, he has been promoted to captain.

Stachowicz, a Hesperia native, will continue serving in the Victor Valley community he grew up in. His new role marks the next step in his long-standing career with SBCoFD.

In his personal life, Stachowicz enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their four children—Landon (12), Aubrey (7), Lincoln (5), and Harper (1).

He is actively involved in his children’s activities, including coaching their baseball team and going on beach trips with the family. The Stachowicz family resides in Hesperia.
