Hesperia Man Struck By Train

UPDATE: Name Released- Arthur Stephen Perez II a 58 year old resident of Hesperia
On November 4, 2013 at 6:08 PM, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputies and officers with the BNSF Railroad Police responded to the area of Hesperia Road and Muscatel in Hesperia, regarding a pedestrian that had been struck by a train.
Upon arrival, they found a Hispanic male, age: 58, a resident of Hesperia, had been standing on the tracks when he was struck by an eastbound BNSF Freight train.
San Bernardino County Fire Department responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.
When next of kin has been notified, his name will be released.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
