ONTARIO:(VVNG.com)- A 54-year-old resident of Hesperia died from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle in the city of Ontario.
On Friday, May 1, 2015 officers from the Ontario Police Department responded to the area of N. San Antonio Avenue and W. Florida Street in Ontario for reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
According to a coroners press release, Paramedics arrived and transported the pedestrian, later identified as Daniel Felix Gutierrez, to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment arriving there at 5:36 A.M.
Treatment continued but Gutierrez succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 10:53 A.M.
The Ontario Police Department is investigating the circumstances of the collision.
