Hesperia Man arrested for human trafficking of a minor in Pomona

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) A Hesperia man was arrested in Pomona for his alleged involvement in the sexual exploitation and human trafficking of a minor girl, officials said.

John Willie Morgan, 37, was picked up and arrested by the Pomona Police Major Crimes Task Force on August 25th.

Prior to Morgan’s arrest, officers were conducting surveillance on a 15-year-old girl believed to be involved in the sex trade. Officials said the young victim, was known to engage in the solicitation of prostitution.

The 15-year-old was seen entering a gray 2007 Saturn Auro later determined to be driven by Morgan, stated a news release.

Morgan was determined to be the primary suspect in the human trafficking of the victim for prostitution.

Morgan was booked into the Pomona City Jail and is being charged with felony human trafficking of a minor. He’s currently being held in lieu of a $1.15 million dollar bail and will be arraigned in a Pomona Superior Court on September 20th.
