VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): A 28-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, December 16th after police responded to a shots fired call on the 13000 block of Doria Circle. Upon arrival they located a black Scion that belonged to 26-year-old Nicole Batz that had been shot several times.
A rear window on the Scion was shattered and through investigation it was determined that the shooter was Nicole’s estranged husband Marvin Batz. Deputies determined that Marvin returned to his Hesperia home and was at the location with his young child.
Sheriff officials said that, arrangements were made to use the Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Division to make contact with and take the suspect into custody. Marvin Batz was taken into custody as he exited his home and was placing his young daughter in a car seat.
