Hesperia Man Arrested for Raping an Unconscious Female

HESPERIA, CA:(VVNG.com)- A 28-year-old Hesperia man identified as Ricardo Enrique Gonzalez is behind bars in connection with raping an unconscious female, authorities said.

On Saturday, September 24, 2016, at approximately 5:16 a.m., a victim reported a rape that occurred at a residence on the 18000 block of Sequoia Street in Hesperia, earlier that morning.

According to a Sheriff’s press release, the victim, and her friends reportedly met a male while drinking at a local bar and later went back to his home in Hesperia.

The victim went to sleep in another room while the suspect and victim’s friends hung out in another room. Gonzalez  reportedly excused himself to shower, but after the suspect had been gone for a while the friends went to check on the victim. When they entered the room they witnessed the suspect having sex with the unconscious victim. They grabbed their friend, fled the residence and reported the crime.

After many hours of thorough investigation, Hesperia Sheriff’s Detectives obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s residence and located evidence and the suspect at the residence.

On Sunday, September 25, 23016 at approximately 1:17 a.m., suspect Ricardo Enrique Gonzalez was arrested and booked at HDDC on charges of PC261(a)(4)-Rape-victim unconscious of act.
