Hesperia Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

HESPERIA: A parolee is behind bars once again after getting busted a second time for possession of child pornography and violation of parole.

On Tuesday, June 3, 2014 Detective Frey of the Crimes Against Children Detail received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Patrick Michael Walker, age 49 of Hesperia was uploading child pornography from the internet.

Detective Frey learned Patrick Walker was a registered sex offender currently on parole for possession of child pornography. Detective Frey coordinated with the California Department of Corrections Parole Officers and learned Walker had moved from Victorville to Hesperia.

According to a news release, on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 9:45 a.m., deputies from the Sheriff’s department and parole officers from CDC conducted a PC 290 Compliance Check and Parole search at Walker’s new residence located on the 17900 block of Bangor Avenue, Hesperia.

Walker was found to be in possession of cellular phones and removable flash drives with stored images of child pornography.

Walker was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and is being held without bail.
