HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): A 57-year-old Hesperia man was arrested following the report of a sex crime with a 13-year-old boy.
On Saturday, May 30th just before 8:00 p.m. deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Hesperia station responded to the report made by the 13-year-old victim.
The boy reported that the molestation occurred earlier that week at the home of a friend’s neighbor, Rene Portes.
The boy went to Portes’ home to hang out, and while alone with him for a brief time the crime allegedly occurred. During the time at Portes’ home, the suspect watched pornographic movies with the juvenile there.
On June 4th, just before noon, a search warrant was served on the home in the 7000 block of Farmdale Avenue. Portes was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for Lewd or Lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14.
