HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A Hesperia man is facing misdemeanor elder abuse charges after he allegedly used a water nozzle to attack a 72-year-old man, officials said.
It happened on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at about 1:30 pm in the 8800 block of Seventh Avenue in Hesperia.
Deputies were called to the location regarding a domestic disturbance and contacted the victim, a 72-year-old man.
According to Sheriff’s spokeswoman Taylor Reynolds, the suspect, Ronald Doyle, 49, a resident of Hesperia, sprayed the victim with a water hose.
“Doyle then struck the victim with the metal spray nozzle, striking the victim’s head and pushed the victim to the ground,” stated Reynolds.
The victim sustained moderate injuries and was treated at the scene by fire personnel.
