Hesperia man arrested after breaking into Victorville church

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A man broke into a church in Victorville before police apprehended him Saturday night.

Police were dispatched to the Trinity Lutheran Church in the 16100 block of Molino Drive around 9:01 pm, after receiving reports of a burglary.

The suspect, Lamar Jordon Taylor, 27, of Hesperia, forced his way into the church and gathered property in an attempt to take it, officials said.

When deputies arrived, they found Taylor in a patio of the church and subsequently arrested him. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC459 Burglary. According to public arrest records, Taylor is being held on a $50,000 bail.
