VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 36-year-old suspect identified as Eric Quintanar, of Hesperia, was arrested for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend to death inside a home in Victorville.
On Friday, March 6, 2020, at 3:27 pm deputies responded to a call of a suicidal subject in the 15500 block of Manzanita Street in Hesperia.
When deputies arrived, they found Quintanar, with injuries to his wrists and he was initially uncooperative. Deputies were able to detain Quintanar and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment, officials said.
During this incident, deputies received information that Quintanar’s girlfriend, Nicole Gadsby, may have been injured at her home in Victorville.
Victorville deputies responded to Gadsby’s home in the 13000 block of Troy Court where they found her suffering from stab wounds and she was pronounced deceased.
Homicide Detectives responded to conduct the investigation.
“Based on evidence and statements, Detectives determined that Quintanar had been at Gadsby’s home earlier in the afternoon and he was responsible for her death,” stated a sheriff’s news release.
Quintanar was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for murder and is being held without bail. He is scheduled for arraignment on March 10, 2020.
