HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): On Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at about 11:46 p.m. the Del Taco located at 15797 Main Street was reported to be robbed at gunpoint as the store was closing.
Per scanner traffic, witnesses described the suspect as a white male adult in his 20’s with blue eyes

wearing a black bandana, white or gray gloves and dark jeans. He also obtained a white bag inside the Del Taco that witnesses said he demanded the money to be put inside of.
The male subject was said to leave the location in a white Nissan Sentra with white rims heading southbound on 8th Avenue. After a brief pursuit, deputies conducted a felony traffic stop in the area of Maple Avenue and Aspen Street.
The suspect was detained without incident and was found to be in possession of an undisclosed amount of cash taken during the robbery. The suspect, per scanner traffic told deputies that the gun was a BB gun that he threw under a trailer behind the Stater Bros. in the 15700 block of Main Street. According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials, no weapon has been recovered at this time.
The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Zachariah Swinburn of Rancho Cucamonga was determined to be on felony probation with an extensive criminal history. No injuries were reported as a result of this armed robbery, and the cash has been returned to the business.
