HELENDALE-(VVNG.com): A Silver Lakes man was arrested on Thursday, August 13th at about 12:30 p.m. for possession of ammunition. The convicted felon, identified as 57-year-old Robert Dana Knieling was served with a search warrant within the 26700 block of Red Coach Lane.
Knieling, who is on active felony probation, was contacted by deputies from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, Victor Valley Station. During the search of his home, 125 rounds of firearm ammunition was located. The ammunition, that authorities said is was of various calibers is illegal for a felon in the state of California to possess.
Knieling was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for felon in possession of ammunition and for violating probation. Knieling is due at the Victorville Superior Court on Friday, August 14th and is currently being held without bail.
