Heavy snow falling on the I-15 in the Cajon Pass, freeway at a stand still in both directions

CAJON PASS, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Thanksgiving storm is really starting to pound the cajon pass with heavy snowfall prompting officials to consider shutting down the I-15 freeway.
As previously reported by VVNG, officers from the California Highway Patrol have been keeping busy since this morning as they escort traffic up and down the pass.
As of 1:25 pm on November 28, 2019, the southbound I-15 freeway is at a complete stop as snowplows are also in full force plowing the freeway.
San Bernardino County Firefighters are responding to multiple vehicles that have spun out on the freeway within the last 10 minutes. Firefighters are stuck in gridlock traffic and having a difficult time reaching the accident.
Multiple vehicles are also reported to be stuck on Highway 138 from the I-15. Highway 138 remains shutdown from the Caltrans yard to Beekly Road.
Please be sure to check back for updated as they become available.
