Heavy Monday morning traffic in Cajon Pass after motorcycle crash

CAJON PASS, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A Monday morning accident in the cajon pass is causing major traffic delays for motorist making their way down the hill.
At 6:10 am, California Highway Patrol incident logs reported a crash on the southbound I-15 freeway, south of Cleghorn Road involving a red motorcycle that crashed into the back of a vehicle.
A red 2007 Honda motorcycle and a silver four-door vehicle stopped in the center divider. The rider was laying down in the shoulder and talking.
According to the logs, one reporting party saw the motorcycle rider riding at 100+ mph, splitting traffic, and driving like a maniac and told dispatch they knew the rider would crash.
Motorist on the southbound side are in gridlocked traffic starting from Ranchero Road in Hesperia.
Early this morning and late last night, motorist on the I-15 freeway reported sightings of a black bear near the center divider. CHP is investigating and so far, no bear has been located.
