Apple Valley, CA – Discover the keys to good health and wellness at the next Healthy High Desert community meeting on Tuesday, November 29, in the Town of Apple Valley Conference Center.
The Town of Apple Valley will host the event, with a networking breakfast from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and presentations from 9 to 11 a.m. During breakfast, participants can connect with the vendors and other nonprofit organizations in attendance.
Mayor Barb Stanton will welcome the attendees who will learn how to access health and wellness in our community through transportation, free services, and new technology.
“School nurses, nursing students, non-profits, caregivers, school administrators, family centers and church representatives who attend will receive valuable knowledge about local resources that they can share with their clients and students,” said Healthy Apple Valley Coordinator, Lena Quinonez.
The meeting, titled “Access High Desert: Your Key to Health and Wellness,” will include representatives from the Victor Valley Transportation Authority, Victor Valley Community Services Council, local hospitals and medical clinics and other key organizations that can improve the level of health services in the region.
“Healthy High Desert encourages health, education, and social service providers to attend this free forum for the betterment of our entire community,” said Quinonez.
