Head On Traffic Collision With Extrication on Hwy 138

(VVNG.com)- The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to reports of a multi vehicle head-on traffic collision on Highway 138 approximately half a mile west of Lone Pine Canyon Road.
According to CHP incident logs, the collision was reported at 8:56 A.M., on Friday, October 9, 2015. Upon arrival, first responders discovered three vehicles involved.
Based on initial reports, the vehicles involved are a white Toyota pick up, a black Toyota Camry and an unknown third vehicle. According to CHP logs, a female inside the Camry was trapped in the vehicle and required extrication after her vehicle flipped over.
Per scanner traffic, at about 9:30 A.M., the patient was successfully extricated from the vehicle.
A total of three patients required medical attention. Two were listed as having minor to moderate injuries and a third as having serious injuries.
