Head-on crash in Victorville shuts down Palmdale Road

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) A major two-vehicle traffic collision shut down A busy stretch of Palmdale Road Tuesday afternoon. It happened at about 2:20 p.m. on Palmdale Road near Cantina Drive and was reported as a head on collision and involved white pick up truck and a small sedan. According to witnesses on scene, the force of collision caused the driver of the truck to be thrown from his window. Emergency personnel arrived on acne and located to people suffering fro injuries. The driver of the pick up truck was transported by ground ambulance to Mesa Linda Park to be further airlifted to a trauma center. East and westbound lanes of Palmdale Road was closed while authorities investigated the scene.

Emergency personnel arrived on scene and located to people suffering from injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported by ground ambulance to Mesa Linda Park and then further airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

East and westbound lanes of Palmdale Road were closed to traffic while authorities investigated the scene.

As of 2:50 p.m., a tow truck arrived on scene to remove the vehicles.
