Gunfire Erupts After Fight at Victorville Dollar Tree; Two from Adelanto Arrested

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A physical altercation at a Victorville business escalated into gunfire, leading to the arrest of a man and woman on multiple felony charges, authorities said.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at approximately 4:52 p.m. at the Dollar Tree store in the 14000 block of La Paz Drive in Victorville.

According to a written statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, “multiple subjects were involved in a physical altercation inside the store,” which then continued into the parking lot. It was there that the suspect, 46-year-old Baltazar Tellez Jimenez of Adelanto, allegedly “produced a firearm and fired several rounds toward the victim and the storefront.”
