Apple Valley, Calif.- The Granite Hills High School Family Center will host its third annual Harvest of Giving Nov. 15 from 5-7 p.m. in the Granite Hills gymnasium.
Guests will have the opportunity to receive two bags of food items, hygiene kits, gently used coats, new blankets and books while supplies last, thanks to support from Valew Quality Truck Bodies, Granite Hills PTSO, IEHP, and Allstate.
“The heart of the Harvest of Giving is to bring our school clubs, PTSO, PTOs, staff, and students together to help our community during the holidays,” said Zayra Hall, Granite Hills High School Regional Family Center Director. “By making it into a fun event we hope to provide people with smiles while receiving help.”
The event is made possible with additional support from the GHHS Interact Club, Cougar Tutors, Latino Pride, French Club, AVID, Key Club, Vanguard PTSO, Rancho Verde PTO, Vanguard sixth-grade AVID, and the Sandia Academy Family Center.
The event is open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to park in the student parking lot with the solar panels. For more information, please contact Mrs. Hall at 760-961-2290 ext. 2409.
