Good Samaritans Help Put Out Brush Fire

CAJON PASS: A brush fire was reported at about 4 p.m., on the north bound 15 freeway just south of Oak Hill road on Sunday. A group of good Samaritans traveling on the freeway noticed the smoke and quickly pulled over to help put out the fire.
When firefighters arrived they found several men shoveling dirt to help put out the fire. Thanks to their quick efforts and lending a helping hand the fire was quickly contained and did not spread to surrounding dry vegetation.
Victor Valley News would like to thank these good Samaritans for going above and beyond and taking the time to stop and help.
