VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- Two of the three women who were caught on video attacking 71-year-old Danny Froscher in front of his 9-year-old grandson had an in custody video arraignment on Tuesday, August 26th.
The incident occurred when Froscher pulled up to a gas pump at the ARCO gas station on Nisqualli and Hesperia Roads and an argument ensued, the female suspects claimed the pump he was at was their pump and told him to move. When Froscher refused to move, the three women continued to confront and assault the elderly man, who was with his grandson at the time.
“I didn’t see it coming. She came right up to me and punched me right in the face. That’s when the other two jumped in and all three started hitting me, I fell back and tried to catch my balance. I remember putting my arms up in order to cover my face,” described Danny.
Brittany Ann Johnson, 24, had an appearance to plea on four felony charges including, robbery, attempted robbery, assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, and causing (GBI) great bodily injury on elder or dependent. She pleaded not guilty to all charges, in court the suspect was appointed a public defender, and a $75,000.00 bail was set.
Leticia Susana Aguilar, 26, .went to court to enter a plea on two felony charges including cause of great bodily injury to Elder or dependent, and Assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury. Aguilar pleaded not guilty to all charges, the suspect was appointed a public defender and $75,000.00 bail was set.
Tatiana Lene Finney, the last of the three suspects, is also being charged with two felony charges including cause of great bodily injury to elder or dependent and assault by means of force likely to cause great bodily injury. The pregnant suspect is not currently in custody and no further information is available regarding her court appearance dates.
The August 22nd, midday incident was captured on video facilitating the cell phone used by one of the witnesses. In the footage, women are witnessed grabbing the elderly man’s keys and reaching to grab the phone of the witness who she noticed was capturing the incident.
Johnson and Aguilar are both expected back in court on September 4th at 8:30 a.m. for a pre-preliminary conference. They are currently in custody at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
