Frost Advisory issued for the Victor Valley

VICTOR VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The US National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory impacting the Victor Valley through the weekend.
According to the NWS, the advisory goes into effect at 10:00 pm Friday until 8:00 am Sunday as local temperatures are expected to dip into the mid 20’s overnight.
“We’re expecting patchy frost to develop in the valleys, lower deserts, and wind sheltered areas overnight and in the early morning hours,” officials said.
Pets and sensitive plants will need protection from the cold, the NWS advises.

Homeless individuals seeking warmth are encouraged to stay at the warming shelter located at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds located at 14800 7th Street in Victorville.
Additionally, the NWS issued a Wind Advisory that could potentially cause hazardous driving conditions for motorist traveling through the Cajon Pass along the I-15 freeway. The wind advisory remains in effect until Saturday at 4:00 pm.
