Frontier Communities’ New Adelanto Neighborhood Revives Local Home-Building Industry

ADELANTO, Calif. – City and business leaders gathered Wednesday evening to celebrate the grand opening of the new Stone Briar neighborhood by Frontier Communities and to laud the reawakening of the new home market in the City of Adelanto.
With 65 single-family homes, Stone Briar is the biggest residential development to launch construction this year in Adelanto.
“Frontier Communities is delighted to be back in the High Desert, and we’re very excited to be kicking off our first new project of 2017 in the City of Adelanto where we have developed a number of new residential communities in the past,” said Jim Rex, division president of Frontier Communities.
The evening celebration included refreshments, music, and tours of the beautiful new model homes located off Highway 395 and Cactus Avenue.
“Tonight’s grand opening is another sign of the great things that are happening in our city and the positive strides we are making,” said Adelanto Mayor Richard Kerr. “As the biggest new home project to break ground this year in Adelanto, this project is an important indicator of how residential construction is coming back to our city.”
Frontier Communities is the largest private builder in the Inland Empire. In the previous decade, Frontier built one-third (33%) of all newly constructed homes sold in the Victory Valley.
Stone Briar brings modern and attractive new residences to the city with a collection of three and four-bedroom homes ranging up to 2002 square feet. Prices begin in the mid-$200,000s for these well-designed homes that offer comfortable family spaces opening to bright kitchens and dining areas.
“We look forward to continuing to bring high-quality new homes to Adelanto, and we have several new communities that will be coming online in the next few months across the High Desert,” Rex said.
