Fog, Rain, & Accidents Causing Traffic Delays in Cajon Pass

CAJON PASS, CA:(VVNG.com)– The southbound I-15 freeway is jammed this Monday morning due to several accidents, thick fog, and rain.
The California Highway Patrol has activated the traffic advisory signs along the freeway advising commuters of heavy traffic.
According to CHP incident logs, at 5:04 a.m. a multi-vehicle collision was reported on the southbound I-15 near Oak Hill Road. The crash caused traffic to backup for several miles. CHP officers temporarily stopped traffic in order to clear the lanes.
At 8:48 a.m. officers responded to a collision again near Oak Hill Road. For unknown reasons, a motorcycle went down near the center divider.
As of 9:13 a.m. traffic is backed up to Main Street and through the Cajon Pass till the 15/215 split.
