Fog, drizzle causing delays on I-15 in Cajon Pass Tuesday morning

CAJON PASS, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Thick fog and heavy drizzle in the cajon pass are causing delays for motorist heading down the hill on the 15 freeway Tuesday morning.
According to Google Maps, a trip from Hesperia to Rancho Cucamonga will take you an estimated 1:15 minutes. That trip is normally about 35 minutes without any traffic.
As of 7:00 am, there were no accidents, closures, or hazards are currently reported on the California Highway Patrol incident logs.
According to the Department of Motor Vehicles’ California Driver Handbook, “You must turn on your headlights if snow, rain, fog, dust, or low visibility (1,000 feet or less) requires the use of windshield wipers.” This law, as stated in California Vehicle Code 24400, took effect in January 2008.
