Flatbed Trailer Overturns After Tesla Crashes Into Dodge Ram on Southbound I-15 in Hesperia

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A traffic collision on the southbound I-15 freeway involving a flatbed trailer loaded with forklifts caused major delays Friday afternoon, October 24, 2025, with traffic backing up for several miles into Victorville.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:42 p.m. just south of Main Street and involved a burgundy Dodge Ram hauling a heavy-duty flatbed trailer and a blue Tesla sedan.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, the Tesla struck a K-rail before crashing into the trailer.
The impact caused the trailer, which was loaded with two forklifts, to overturn onto its side, blocking multiple lanes of traffic. The Tesla sustained damage to the passenger-side door, front quarter panel, and bumper.

The crash left the Tesla disabled, while the Dodge Ram came to rest facing the wrong direction in the fast lane. All parties involved were seen out of their vehicles, with no injuries confirmed at the time of the report.
A SIG Alert was issued at 2:15 p.m., closing the #1 and #2 lanes for approximately 45 minutes to allow for vehicle recovery operations. The incident resulted in extensive delays, with southbound traffic on I-15 backed up to nearly Mojave Drive in Victorville.
Tow services from G&M Towing, including a Landoll trailer, responded to assist in clearing the scene.
The California Highway Patrol Victorville Station is handling the investigation into the cause of the crash.
