
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Five people were injured in a head-on multi vehicle traffic collision in Victorville Friday.
It happened at about 5:30 p.m., when units were dispatched to a crash with extrication near the intersection of Mojave Drive near Condor Road in Victorville.
When deputies arrived, they located a Ford Mustang, Ford Ranger, and a Honda sedan blocking the intersection with and with people trapped.
It took approximately 10 minutes for San Bernardino County Firefighters to extricate two patients from the mangled cars.
Due to the severity of their injuries, two medical helicopters were requested to airlift the patients to out of area trauma centers.
A total of five patients, with minor to major injuries were transported to various hospitals.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Victorville Sheriff’s Station.
