Firefighters Respond to Saturday Morning Commercial Structure Fire

HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): The San Bernardino Fire Department was dispatched to a commercial structure fire in the 16000 block of Yucca Street at 7:32 a.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, they located a fire contained to a single bedroom of a vacant apartment unit.
Firefighters arrived within 6 minutes to find the single bedroom and it’s contents on fire. Firefighters immediately secured a water line and began to fight the fire in an attack mode. They conducted a primary and secondary search, which both came up clear.
The fire began to spread to the attic making vertical ventilation necessary to slow the spread of the fire. The fire was extinguished by 7:53 a.m. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident. A San Bernardino County Investigator arrived on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
