Firefighters Respond to House Fire Near Cedar Middle School

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) San Bernardino County Fire responded to a house fire near Cedar Middle School in Hesperia Wednesday morning.
At about 11:19 a.m. dispatch received reports of a garage on fire in the 8400 block of Long View Avenue with possible explosions heard, per scanner reports.
Firefighters arrived and located a single story residence with the garage fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters are currently in the attack mode and working on knocking down the blaze that’s extended into the attic of the home.
The fire is not posing any threat to students or staff at Cedar Middle School.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
At about 11:50 a.m. medical was requested to treat a patient with “minor burns”, per scanner traffic info.
