Firefighters quickly douse blaze in Victorville Sunday night

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Firefighters worked quickly to douse a blaze that burned very close to homes Sunday night.
At about 8:40 PM on Sunday, June 7, 2020, Victorville City Firefighters were dispatched to a fire in the area of North Star Avenue and Del Amo Way.
Firefighters arrived and confirmed pine trees, a fence, and vegetation on both sides of the street were fire. The majority of the fire appeared to be in the backyard which at one point threatened multiple structures.
A nearby resident told VVNG most of the fire was knocked down by about 8:55 PM.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
