Firefighters contain small brush fires along nb I-15 near Oak Hill Road

CAJON PASS, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Firefighters responded to multiple small spot fires along the 15 freeway Thursday morning.
Just before 8:30 am dispatch received reports of brush catching fire in the center divider on the northbound I-15, south of Oak Hill Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs, a dark SUV in the center divider lost a tire and possibly caused the fires.
Fire crews located three small spot fires and quickly extinguished them. A Sig Alert expected to last 30 minutes was issued at 8:45 am due to firefighters blocking the no. 1 lane.
