Firefighters battle house fire in Apple Valley Tuesday

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Firefighters with the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to a house fire Tuesday evening.
It happened August 20, 2019, at about 7:16 pm in the 12800 block of Morning Star Road, near Navajo Road.
Fire crews were dispatched to a structure fire with flames showing and possible fireworks inside, scanner traffic reported.
Firefighters arrived on scene and located a single-story home with heavy fire on the garage side.
Security bars around the doors and windows made it difficult for firefighters to make access to the structure. Solar panels on the roof made vertical ventilation a challenge.
Firefighters made entry and confirmed all occupants made it out of the structure. One ambulance was requested to respond to the scene for an occupant of the home, however, it’s unknown if anyone was injured.
The official cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
