Fight Outside Linko Sushi Leads to Arrest of Apple Valley Man, Victim Hospitalized

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 32-year-old Apple Valley man was arrested after a fight outside a local restaurant left one victim with serious injuries.

On Friday, August 22, 2025, at 6:09 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Station responded to Linko Sushi, located at 12115 Apple Valley Road, after receiving reports of a fight between two individuals.

Deputies located a victim who had suffered serious facial injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to a written statement from the Apple Valley Police Department.

Witnesses told deputies the suspect, identified as Kyle Barrow, fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Detectives with the Apple Valley Detective Bureau positively identified Barrow, and a judge issued a warrant for his arrest.

On August 23, 2025, investigators obtained and served a search warrant at a residence in the 18000 block of Olalee Road with assistance from the Specialized Enforcement Division, the Apple Valley Gang Team, and Apple Valley Detectives.

Barrow was taken into custody without incident and booked at the High Desert Detention Center on charges of battery with serious bodily injury and assault with a deadly weapon. He later posted bail and was released from custody.
