Female Motorcyclist Airlifted After Apple Valley Accident

APPLE VALLEY:(VVNG.com)- A 51-year-old Apple Valley woman was airlifted to a trauma center after she collided with another vehicle while riding her motorcycle on Thursday, September 18th, 2014 at approximately 6:50 a.m.

Deputies from the Apple Valley police station responded to a report of a major injury traffic collision in the 21000 block of Waalew Road in Apple Valley.

A 1991 Nissan driven by a 56-year-old male was traveling west on Waalew Road and was attempting to make a left turn into the mobile home park when Terrie Adams, who was driving a motorcycle west on Waalew Road attempted to pass the Nissan and struck the vehicle, according to authorities.

The driver of Nissan was not injured and only had minor damage to the vehicle. The driver of the motorcycle Terrie Adams was transported by air to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
