Female Employee Assaulted During Attempted Robbery



VICTORVILLE:( Deputies are searching for two suspects who attempted to rob a smoke shop and assaulted a female employee.

On March 25, 2016, at approximately 3:00 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the report of a robbery that had occurred at the Smoke Shop located at 14516 Seventh Street in Victorville.

Upon arrival, deputies were informed that two black males entered the location, suspect #1 jumped over the counter and punched the victim in the face and pulled her hair repeatedly, causing her to fall to the floor.

Suspect #1 attempted to steal the cash register but was stopped by a concerned citizen attempting to help the victim. After a brief struggle, both suspects exited the store and fled the location on foot running towards the bus stop located on Lorene Drive near Costco. Deputies conducted a search of the area, however, the suspects remain outstanding.

The suspects are Black male adults approximately 17-20 years old. Suspect #1 is 5’9”, 130 lbs., light skin, green eyes with a tattoo on his neck and a line on the right side of his face – last seen wearing a white t-shirt w/red sleeves. Suspect #2 is 5’2”, 130 lbs, dark skin – last seen wearing brown pants.

Deputies were informed that the suspects may possibly frequent the storefront near the Smoke Shop and the Dollar General Store.
