Female Airlifted with 3rd Degree Burns

LUCERNE VALLEY:(VVNG.com)- A female was transported by air ambulance after she sustained 2nd to 3rd degree burns all over her entire body.

On Monday, January 5, 2015 at approximately 4:00 PM Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call reporting a 63-year-old female was found face down with burns to her face and body.

According to scanner traffic, it was unsure if the victim set herself on fire or if the boyfriend did.

Airship Air Rescue 06 was requested to transport the victim who suffered 2nd to 3rd degree burns over her entire body. The designated landing zone was established at Pioneer Park on Old Woman Springs Road.

At this time the victims condition is currently unknown and its unclear how she sustained the burns.
