Family Launches GoFundMe To Help Lay Victorville Homicide Victim Matthew Valle To Rest
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The family of 22-year-old Matthew Valle is asking the community for support with funeral and burial expenses after he was killed in a homicide in Victorville.
A GoFundMe titled “Help Lay Matthew Valle to Rest” was created by his sister, Yesenia Valle, following his death. The fundraiser will help cover Matthew’s funeral services, burial and memorial arrangements.
“Our family is heartbroken after tragically losing Matthew to homicide, and we are now facing the unexpected burden of funeral expenses while trying to process this unimaginable loss,” Yesenia wrote on the fundraiser.
She described Matthew as her “beloved little brother” and said his death has deeply affected the family.
“No family is ever prepared for something like this, and this has left us grieving while also trying to make sure Matthew is laid to rest with the love and dignity he deserves,” she wrote.
Matthew was found unresponsive inside a residence in the 16600 block of Ramada Drive early Monday, Aug. 10, 2026. Emergency medical personnel responded and pronounced him deceased, according to a written statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The department’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail assumed the investigation. Authorities said the suspect remains at large.
As the homicide investigation continues, Matthew’s family is now focused on laying him to rest.
“Anything donated is highly appreciated to lay my beloved little brother to rest. Thank you in advance, and God bless. Much love and appreciation from me and my family to yours,” Yesenia wrote.
