Expelled student at Victor Valley High School arrested for trespassing

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 16-year-old male student previously expelled from Victor Valley High School was arrested for trespassing onto the campus Tuesday, officials said.

At about 2:09 pm, the teen was approached by a school security officer and told he was not allowed to be there, stated sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.

“The student picked up a trash can and threw it at the security officers. He then picked up a large rock and threatened to assault them,” stated Rodriguez.

A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy assigned to the school responded to the incident.

Rodriguez said the student has received multiple warnings from school security and the deputy about trespassing on campus.

The teen was arrested and booked at the High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for trespassing.
